The firm's finance capabilities were boosted earlier this year with the hire of Jana Orlova, a former senior in-house counsel for SEB Bank.

Deal highlights included assisting with the financing of the MBO of the TC Motors Chrysler Jeep Dodge car dealership. The team also assisted Structured Credit International on the recovery process for Parex Bank, this deal was led by new recruit Jan Orlova as well as named partner Valters Gencs.

Gencs was also heavily involved in M&A work including advice to forestry company Vika Wood on its sale to Icelandic investors.
